Third single for Iggy Azalea

"Change Your Life" feat. T.I. on Vevo

We love her! She makes us dance on the dance floor! She makes us shake our asses! After "Work" and "Bounce", here you are "Change Your Life" feat. T.I.
We can't compare her with M.I.A. or Azealia Banks, but neither with Miley Cyrus or other pop singers. She's different, and this is what makes her special and appreciable.

Berzerk's video is out now

Brand new video by Eminem

Here the link for Eminem's brand new video "Berzerk". The sound and even the video remind me something of Beastie Boys. Don't you?
Enjoy!

Coldplay sings New Hunger Games Movie Soundtrack

"Atlas" is already a smash hit

Even if I'm not a teenager anymore... I devoured all the three books of Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins last summer. So... I'm looking forward to watching the second chapter of my favorite saga, and "Atlas" is a perfect soundtrack.

Already millions of views on YouTube, which means that Coldplay's fans are missing the band a lot!

Katy into the Jungle

"Roar" by Katy Perry is online on Vevo

I was looking forward to watching the release of Katy Perry's brand new video, but I can say that was not what I expected. When I watched it for the first time I thought: 'are you serious?!?'
I've already heard the latest news about her upcoming album "Prism", about how it would be different from "Teenage Dream" because now the California Girl has grown up and has became a tiger... but I couldn't imagine in this way.

I don't want to reveal anything else. Watch it now: Roar (Official) - Katy Perry

Madonna's september issue

#secretproject, Hard Candy Fitness and more

"Democracy does not seem to exist anymore" she says. "We live in a really scary time." These are the words of Madonna during the latest teaser that anticipates the release of #secretproject, a short film, which presumably concerns the defense of civil rights and femicide, in collaboration with Steven Klein. And you could say ... Klein who?

No, not the designer. Klein is a photographer really appreciated, especially in the United States: he has photographed advertising campaigns for Calvin Klein, D&G, Alexander McQueen, Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent and Nike, and is also a regular contributor to magazines such as the U.S. and french version of Vogue, GQ, iD, Numéro, L'Uomo Vogue, W and Arena Homme.

Madonna anticipated her collaboration with Klein on Instagram few months ago. None of the three published videos reveals much about the actual contents of the Secret Project, which will be released on September 24th. The promotional video has already caused a stir because of the scene where Madonna shoots in the head of a man wearing fishnet tights and heels.

In these days even the italian news reports talked about Madonna, in particular about her first italian opening of Hard Candy Fitness, in Rome near the Colosseum. From 2010 Maddy has opened many gyms around the world offering exclusive services to all members, including the pop star's special training.

Moreover, Madonna is at the center of another scandal that regards (again) a possible plagiarism. Some argue that the new single "Applause" by Lady Gaga has been copied from "Girl Gone Wild" by Madonna . Two years ago, in 2011, Lady Gaga was already accused of plagiarism for certain similarities between Born This Way and the historic Madonna's Express Yourself. I can not find any similarity this time, but there are a lot of videos in YouTube that mix both songs simultaneously.

"You make me" is Avicii's upcoming track

While the whole world is dancing "Wake Me Up", Avicii launches a lyric video for his next single... and i do not have any doubts it will be another great success! Neither Lady Gaga and Katy Perry have been able to oust the swedish dj out of the first place on iTunes top downloaded chart. Also #1 for 6 weeks on Spotify!

Lorde is here

Royals

New Releases discovered Lorde two months ago, when Radio Deejay announced the debut of this brand new artist! She's know as Lorde but her real name is Ella Yelich-O'Connor, she's 17 and she's a New Zeland singer-songwriter. "Royals" has just reached the Billboard Top 20 in the USA.
The artist's debut album Pure Heroine is scheduled for a September 2013 release.
I'm looking forward to hearing something new!

Jessie J thumb down

It's my party

After the failure of "Wild", Jessie J relaunches herself with a brand new song: "It's my party" ... but unfortunately she fails!
Who you are sold 2.5 milion copies last year! Will the upcoming album sell as well as the last one? This latest single seems the soundtrack of a Disney movie with the Olsen twins. Thumb down for Jessie!

Elysium Soundtrack & more

The new Sci-fi blockbuster starring Matt Damon & Jodie Foster

Ryan Amon signs the soundtrack of Elysium, sci-fi movie just released in italian cinemas and already a blockbuster. This is a debut for the american composer who, despite his inexperience, can perfectly involve the viewer into the story, introducing him in a very distant future.

ELYSIUM Soundtrack - Main Theme by Ryan Amon (2013)

In fact the film is set in 2154, in Los Angeles, where there are just poor people who live in bad medical conditions and share a polluted and overpopulated earth. I will not reveal anything about the plot, but let me say that the script is the best thing about this film. The viewer is often surprised by frequent twists... when you least expect it!

The cast also contributes to the success of the film, starring Matt Damon, a semi terrestrial-robot hero, and Jodie Foster, a super bitch defense chief of Elysium. The South African director of Distric 9 succeeds in combining history, special effects and music offering to the public 109 minutes of adrenaline. The only flaw is the difference in rhythm between the first part and the second, which ends too quickly according to me!

I recommend it! Go to the Cinema!

Let me close the post with the comment of a friend of mine at the end of the movie last night: "Mmmm Matt Damon! Aadorooo, for me he's top!!!"

PS: For those who live in Milan, only 4,50€ at Plinius with a university badge!

The sound of the future

Good morning New Releases!

I'm listening to Daft Punk, and you? Random Access Memories has been the soundtrack of my summer mornings. That's really a pleasure waking up with "Beyond", "Doin' it right" or "Loose your self to dance". The last one came into my head and I just can not forget it.

I love the new work of Daft Punk! The album is full of sounds of the 70s ... and how could I not love them just for that? Daft Punk have brought a revolution in the music, we'll know soon when others will try to imitate them. As Giorgio By Moroder says in a brand new song from Daft Punk's new album: "I knew it could be a sound of the future but I didn't realize how much impact it would be".

Another artist to whom I recognize the merit of introducing something new this year is Bruno Mars: his latest album Unorthodox Jukebox is really different from the previous one, even the latest single "Gorilla" does not seem to belong to this era, much more to 70s and 80s.

I leave you with Daft Punk ft. Panda Bear - Doin' It Right

Good awakening!
